Second Grade Here We Come!!

WOW! I can't believe how quickly our year has passed! The students are SO excited to officially be SECOND GRADERS!! Please enjoy our end of the year video below! It has been such a joy being your child's teacher this year! Thank you so much for all the continued support in making our year together great! I hope everyone has a SUPER summer!! 

1 Day until Summer Vacation!

To help celebrate one day left as first graders we practiced spelling (and playing) with shaving cream on the tables! It was also a great way to get our tables extremely clean!!

2 more days until SUMMER!

We spent most of our day at the park today! The first graders really enjoyed being able to play with ALL the first graders from the other classes and have a picnic lunch! 

3 days!

The countdown continues! Today our balloon reward was to paint a "Pet Rock!" THANK YOU so much to the parents who brought in the rocks! The first graders had a blast painting outside and creating their own pets!

4 days-LAST Friday of the Year & The TALENT SHOW!

Today was our LAST Friday of the school year! To help celebrate we had a picnic lunch outside today (our reward from our balloon!)! We also had our First Grade Talent Show! Thank you to all who could attend and to all of our performers! :)

5 days!

5 days of school left and we had our CHALK DRAWING CONTEST today! Inside our balloon was the reward of a chalk drawing contest! (Which quickly turned into a little extra time on the playground as well!)  Here are some of the artists at work! Enjoy!

I can't believe there are only 6 more days left together as a first grade class! We had WONDERFUL, breezy, weather today for our awesome reward featured below. 

After watching the airplane creations, I think we have some future engineers in Room 9!
