After reading our story Mister Bones, we were so intrigued by fossils and dinosaur bones that we all turned into Paleontologists in Room 9! The first graders were able to use special tools and "dig" for FOSSILS! :) They worked together in small groups to discover an entire small replica of a dinosaur. They were absolutely giddy about this opportunity and it was so much fun to see their excitement and to see them all work together as a team toward finding all the bones.
