We are currently working on recognizing pairs of ten in math class! The students have learned a variety of games to help them understand number order and the concept of different pairs of numbers equaling ten. On Friday, we were able to create a "Poppin' Pairs of 10" book that had the students put 2 groups of "gumballs" in a "gumball machine" that equaled 10. To make this activity even more fun, we chewed bubble gum and blew bubbles! Here are a few pictures of the students playing the math games and creating their "Poppin' Pairs of 10" book. :)
